Cantor’s Driving School offers driver training packages – bundles of our most popular services that help you save money while purchasing top quality defensive driver training.
Cantor’s Driving School gives private, one-on-one, on-the-road driving lessons 7 days a week, day and evening hours. Door-to-door service is provided – we pick you up and we drop you off at your school, work, house or apartment.

Cantor’s Driving School is the top-rated choice in Nevada, thanks to high demand and popularity. Currently, after-school and weekend driving lessons are typically booked four to five weeks in advance, but cancellations can occasionally create openings.
For the most up-to-date availability, we recommend calling our office Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at 702-985-7993, or you can check our online scheduling system. To check availability, simply select a driver training package, input your address, and the first available slots will be listed for you. Additionally, instructor calendars for November 2026 will be available starting September 9th, 2026, and we usually open instructor schedules two to three months in advance.

Policies
These policies apply to driver training services offered by Cantor’s Driving School. By using our services, you are accepting these terms and conditions. Please read our policies.
Package Payment Policy: All packages require full payment for the entire package before scheduling. You can register, pay and schedule online, or call our office (702-985-7993) during office hours to pay, register and schedule over the phone if you prefer.
Refund Policy: If a refund is requested after lessons or packages are purchased, there is a $40 administrative fee to process the refund. No refunds are issued after one year from the date of purchase.
Lessons Cancellation: 48 hours notice is required to cancel a driving lesson without penalty. Driving lessons are conducted in rain/inclement weather. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice for any reason, including weather, there will be a $90 charge for rescheduling.
Rescheduling Policy: We understand that unexpected situations can arise, leading to lesson cancellations. Rescheduling may take several weeks as we find suitable time slots. Additionally, if unforeseen issues occur on our end, such as instructor illness or vehicle problems, we will do our best to reschedule lessons as quickly as possible.
Lateness Policy: If you arrive late for your driving lesson, the session will still conclude at the originally scheduled time. Unfortunately, any lost time will not be made up, as we adhere to a strict schedule to accommodate all clients. Please ensure you arrive on time to make the most of your lesson.
No-Show Policy: The instructor will wait for 15 to 20 minutes for your scheduled lesson. If you do not arrive within this time frame, the lesson will be marked as a no-show. In this case, you will incur a $150 charge for rescheduling, or the lesson will be forfeited altogether. To avoid these penalties, please make every effort to arrive on time.
Policy on Passengers During Driving Lessons: At Cantor’s Driving School, we do not allow parents, siblings, or friends to sit in the back seat during driving lessons. This policy helps minimize distractions for both the driving instructor and the student, ensuring a focused learning environment. Additionally, it complies with insurance regulations that require a limited number of occupants in the vehicle.
Impaired Policy: If an instructor suspects that a student is under the influence of illegal drugs, alcohol, or is highly medicated on prescription drugs, or falling asleep to the point of being unsafe, they will immediately halt the lesson. In this case, the lesson will be considered a complete forfeit. This policy ensures the safety of all participants and maintains a conducive learning environment.
Certificate of Completion: After 3 lessons/6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons are completed, Cantor’s Driving School will issue a Certificate of Completion. This may be helpful with car insurance; check with your provider.
Permit/License Requirements: If you do not have a valid Nevada Learner’s Permit, Driver’s License or International License in your possession at the time of the lesson, the lesson cannot be given. There will be a $90 charge for the lesson to be rescheduled.
Please note that all packages expire one year from the date of purchase. This policy applies uniformly across all packages, ensuring that customers are aware of the timeframe in which they can utilize the services included. Be sure to keep track of your purchase date to maximize the benefits of your package before it expires.

Time Slots for Driving Lessons
Driving lessons on Monday to Friday are typically from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Driving lessons on the weekends are typically from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
30 Hour Online Driver’s Ed Course
The Nevada thirty hour online driver’s education program from Cantor’s Driving School is a great way to prepare you for your driver’s examination. Courses are licensed by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and all first time drivers under the age of 18 in Nevada are required to take an approved 30-hour driver’s education course.

Another way to fulfill the Nevada driver’s eduction requirement is to take the “15-5” program – a 15 hour Online Driver Education Course and (at least) 5 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a professional driving school like Cantor’s Driving School. In the 15-5 program, both of these requirements must be completed to be eligible to earn your driver’s license.
